NOUAKCHOTT, MAURITANIA

On May 16, 2022, the project handed over digital investigation equipment to the Cybercrime Service of the Directorate of New Information and Communication Technologies of the Mauritanian National Gendarmerie under the chairmanship of the Minister of Transition Innovation and Modernization of the Administration and in the presence of the Ministers of National Defense and the Interior and the Representative of the Delegation of the European Union in Mauritania.

This official handover ceremony was attended:
– an awareness-raising workshop on digital hygiene and cybersecurity, in collaboration with the MTNIMA and the national gendarmerie
– and a methodological workshop for setting up a national CSIRT.
